{"id":9444,"date":"2026-08-10T11:37:25","date_gmt":"2026-08-10T11:37:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/majistraleczacilari.org.tr\/?post_type=docs&#038;p=2045"},"modified":"2026-08-21T11:48:12","modified_gmt":"2026-08-21T11:48:12","password":"","slug":"biocidal-products-in-germany","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/majistraleczacilari.org.tr\/en\/dokumanlar\/antiseptic-antibacterial-antifungal-antiviral\/biocidal-products-in-germany\/","title":{"rendered":"Biocidal Products in Germany"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"text\">\n<p><strong>Biocidal products containing 2-propanol and ethanol in Germany<\/strong>As the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus continues to spread rapidly across the globe, the use of hand disinfectants is becoming increasingly widespread in Germany, which is among the most successful countries in this fight.<\/p>\n<p>Health authorities emphasize that hospitals, nursing homes, and the private sector in Germany obtaining hand disinfectants from pharmacies for hand hygiene has played an important role in combating coronavirus since the onset of the pandemic.<strong>Formulas for hygienic hand disinfection<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/eczacininsesi.com\/haber\/ahmet-yeni1a(1).jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/eczacininsesi.com\/haber\/ahmet-yeni1b(1).jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/eczacininsesi.com\/haber\/ahmet-yeni2(1).jpg\" alt=\"\">Formula 8 (1-propanol 70%) must be used only by professional users.<\/p>\n<p>Formulas to be used for the disinfection procedures of inpatients or outpatients;<\/p>\n<p>4-component formulations (formulations 2 and 5) and higher concentrations of 2-propanol or ethanol formulations 3 or 7 will be used, as these are required solely for bactericidal activity purposes. This means that applying 3 ml of solution and keeping hands moist for 30 seconds is intended not only for limited virucidal efficacy, but also for adequate bactericidal efficacy.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from patient care, the 2-propanol or ethanol concentrations from the disinfectant formulas above can also be used for virucidal purposes in terms of being effective against coronaviruses.<\/p>\n<p>When preparing disinfectants containing formulas 1, 2, 4, and 5, they must be stored for 72 hours before delivery to prevent any spore formation inside the containers in which they are stored.<strong>The following instructions must be followed for the label or instructions for use:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/eczacininsesi.com\/haber\/ahmet-yeni3(1).jpg\" alt=\"\">The minimum purity of Glycerol in the formulas must be 85%.<\/p>\n<p>Purified water is produced from drinking water by the following methods:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 distillation<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 ion exchange<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 reverse osmosis<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 another suitable method<\/p>\n<p>and purified water prepared accordingly must be used.<\/p>\n<p>When using ethanol, it should be adjusted to a minimum purity of 96%; it should be noted that adding a denaturant will decrease the purity.<\/p>\n<p>Wishing you a pleasant week\u2026<strong>Source:<\/strong>Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, P.O.
