2How to exercise your right of withdrawal
2.1You must convey your withdrawal notice to us via a durable data medium before the 14-day period expires. You may use one of the following methods:
- The return request form in your member account,
- Email to [email protected],
- Fax to 0531 394 37 32,
- Mail to Sultan Mesud Mah. İstanbul Cad. Dış Kapı No: 82, İç Kapı No: 1, Karatay / KONYA.
We immediately send confirmation that requests submitted via the website have reached us.
2.2Specifying your full name, order number, product name, and refund account details in your notification will expedite the process. You are not required to use the withdrawal notification form; an explicit statement indicating your decision to withdraw is sufficient.
2.3You must return the product to us within 10 days of your withdrawal notice. When sent via {{IADE_KARGO_FIRMASI}} using the return code {{IADE_KODU}}, the shipping fee is borne by us. If you prefer a different carrier, the return costs shall be borne by you, not exceeding the delivery costs.
2.4Please send the product complete with its box, packaging, and accessories (if any), along with its invoice. We remind you that you are liable for any diminution in value resulting from use exceeding ordinary inspection.
3Printed publications
3.1You may return books whose stretch wrap, shrink wrap, or similar protective packaging has not been opened within 14 days.
3.2The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for books whose protective packaging has been opened (Regulation on Distance Contracts Art. 15/1-e). Periodicals such as magazines and bulletins, as well as personalized prints, are also excluded from the scope of the right of withdrawal (Art. 15/1-f and Art. 15/1-b).
3.3Printing defects such as missing pages, misfolding, illegible print, or detached binding are considered defects. You may return these products—even if their packaging has been opened—with shipping fees borne by us, or request their replacement with a defect-free equivalent.
3.4In cases of carrier-induced damage, you must have the courier prepare a damage report at the time of delivery and refuse to accept the product. Carrier damage claims cannot be evaluated for shipments accepted without a damage report.
4Digital content and e-books
4.1For products such as e-books, digital lecture notes, and video recording access, the right of withdrawal expires once downloading or viewing has begun (Regulation Art. 15/1-ğ). This condition is separately confirmed on the purchase screen.
4.2If downloading or viewing has never been initiated, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days.
4.3In the event that the file is corrupted, does not match the advertised content, or access cannot be provided due to reasons originating from us, the full amount will be refunded. The burden of proving that intangible goods delivered electronically are free from defect lies with us (Regulation Art. 20/3).
4.4Please verify the file format, system requirements, and access duration information on the product page prior to purchase.
5Event, congress, and course registrations
5.1You have the right of withdrawal within 14 days from the date of registration. However, if the performance of the service has commenced with your explicit consent before this period expires—such as if access to event materials has been provided, you have logged into the online platform, or the event has started—the right of withdrawal expires (Regulation Art. 15/1-h).
5.2For cancellations outside the withdrawal period, the following schedule applies:
| Time of cancellation notice | Refund rate |
|---|---|
| When there are {{GUN_1}} or more days remaining until the event | 100% |
| When there are {{GUN_2}}–{{GUN_1}} days remaining until the event | 50% |
| When there are fewer than {{GUN_2}} days remaining until the event or after the event has started | No refund |
This schedule is applied because venue, catering, printed material, and speaker expenses are finalized prior to the event. The applicable schedule is also announced on the registration page of each event.
5.3In lieu of a refund, you may transfer your registration to another person provided that you notify us at least {{GUN_3}} days prior to the event date. The transferee must fulfill the professional qualifications required for the event.
5.4If we cancel the event, the entire amount you paid will be refunded within 14 days. If we postpone the event, you may choose between transferring your registration to the new date or receiving a full refund; you must convey your preference within 14 days of the postponement notice.
5.5No refunds will be made and no certificate of participation will be issued for events you registered for but did not attend.
6Membership dues and donations
No right of withdrawalThere is no right of withdrawal for membership dues, entrance fees, and donation payments, and these payments are non-refundable. Since these payments are not made in return for the purchase of a good or service, they are not considered consumer transactions (Law No. 6502 Art. 3/1-l) and do not fall within the scope of the Regulation on Distance Contracts (Regulation Art. 2/2-j). Dues are an obligation arising from the membership relationship, and pursuant to Article 70 of the Turkish Civil Code, a member who leaves the association is obliged to pay the dues for the period during which they remained a member.
Refunds are processed in exceptional cases such as duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, and unauthorized card usage. Details: Donation and Dues Payment Terms.
7Refund of the payment
7.1Within 14 days from the date your withdrawal notice reaches us, we will refund all payments collected, including delivery costs, if any.
7.2The refund will be made in a lump sum in accordance with the payment method you used during purchase, without imposing any expenses or obligations on you.
7.3The reflection of credit card refunds onto your account depends on your bank’s transaction processes and may take two to three weeks. We are not responsible for this duration.
7.4For installment purchases, the refund may be reflected in your account over a number of billing cycles equal to the number of installments, depending on your bank’s practices.
7.5For payments made via Wire Transfer/EFT, the refund will be made to the IBAN you provide, which must belong to the person who made the payment.
8Defective goods and services
8.1If the product you received does not possess the specifications stated on the website, you may exercise one of the optional rights: rescinding the contract, requesting a price discount proportional to the defect, requesting free repair, or requesting replacement with a non-defective equivalent.
8.2Requests for free repair or replacement with a non-defective equivalent will be fulfilled within a maximum of 30 business days from the date they reach us.
8.3Our liability for defects is subject to a two-year statute of limitations from the delivery date, even if the defect becomes apparent subsequently.
8.4Return shipping costs for defective products are borne by us under all circumstances.
