Dear Colleagues; as you may recall from the first part of my article that I wrote last week, I mentioned that products we refer to as DERMOCOSMETICS are increasingly occupying pharmacy shelves, and that we will frequently see these products—whose names we often hear in recent years regarding skincare—being utilized within MAGISTRAL FORMULATIONS as well. I also noted that health insurance systems in many countries have included certain dermocosmetic products under reimbursement coverage; for instance, treatments for conditions such as psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, acne, and atopic skin problems, along with some important sunscreen products, are reimbursed by insurance systems in various countries.
This week, as a continuation of last week, we will continue to examine the ingredients and properties of dermocosmetic products manufactured by various companies in Europe and in our country, and most importantly, the compatibility and maximum ratios we need to know when combining them with active substances used in magistral formulas.
