Dear colleagues;
As you will remember, over the past two weeks, I wrote formulas containing varying proportions of the active ingredient ANTHRALIN-CIGNOLIN-DITHRANOL.
This week, I will again provide examples of formulas containing this active ingredient.

Both formulas are used in psoriasis vulgaris with various application methods. Depending on the physician’s preference, it is used morning and evening, once a day (preferably applied at night), or for a short period between five and thirty minutes after application, by washing the cream off to remove it from the body.
Another formula used for epidermomycosis (fungal infection of the skin) and furuncle (boil) is;
Anthralin 2.0 g
Tumenol 6.0 g
Glycerin 6.0 g
Alcohol 70% 100 ml
If we examine another formula used in psoriasis and tinea cruris (fungal infection seen in the groin);
Anthralin 0.5 g
Lassar’s paste T.K. 100.0 g
Dear colleagues, I will write about Lassar’s paste T.K. included in this formula as a separate topic in the coming weeks.
In conclusion, ANTHRALIN is an active substance with allergic properties that has a wide range of uses from psoriasis to eczema, furuncles to epidermomycosis, included in formulas in varying proportions according to diagnosis, showing its effect by reducing the mitotic rate of the epidermis.
Wishing you a great week…
