Varicose veins, which simply mean dilated veins, occur when veins enlarge and become tortuous due to functional disorders or an obstruction to blood flow.
Varicose veins can develop in deep veins as well as superficial ones. Defined as the dilation, elongation, and tortuosity of veins, varicose veins are a significant health problem affecting a large portion of the adult population.
Modern working conditions, particularly those requiring sedentary behavior with prolonged sitting or prolonged standing, put a large proportion of working women in a high-risk group for varicose vein disease.
Varicose veins pose a risk factor for those who stand for prolonged periods or work seated for long hours.
The risk of developing varicose veins is 3 times higher in those who stand for more than 4 hours. It is seen 4 times more often in women than in men.
Pregnancy, excess weight, birth control pills, and hormone therapies also increase susceptibility to varicose vein disease.
Causes of varicose vein formation: Heredity, high-risk lifestyle, and smoking are the leading risk factors.
In patients with a positive family history, the risk of developing varicose veins is 4 times higher than in those without a family history. Just as prolonged standing or working seated for long periods is a risk factor, the risk of developing varicose veins increases 3-fold for those who stand for more than 4 hours a day.” Prolonged standing

If we examine the active ingredients in the formula;
Zincioxydaticrudi-Zincioxide-Oxyde de zinc;Pure zinc oxide is an astringent with mild antiseptic properties. It prevents redness and irritation that may occur on the skin.Glycerini-Glycerol-Glycerin; is used due to its solvent, carrier, preservative, and viscosity-enhancing properties. It is an important moisturizing agent.Gelatinialbae-Gelatin-Gelatinum; It is an excipient used in pharmaceutical technology that can absorb several times its weight. When brought into contact with cold water, it swells by absorbing 5-10 times its volume of water and forms a solid gel. It is practically insoluble in acetone, chloroform, ethanol, ether, and methanol.Preparation of the formula; Zinc oxide and glycerin are mixed by triturating in a glass mortar. The formula is prepared by adding the gelatin gel, which has swollen after dissolving in cold water, to the mixture. The solution should be stored in a tightly closed glass bottle below 25 degrees. This formula, possessing the properties of a fat-free zinc paste, should be applied over the varicose veins morning and evening to form a film.
